Welcome to our annual event
Tips for Vets
Our event, Tips for Vets was created because we believe in the power of community, service, and support. This project is a heartfelt collaboration between Military Brothers Moving and the Warrior Healing Center, created with one simple mission: to give back to those who have given so much.
Every move, every service, and every contribution is an opportunity to honor and uplift veterans in our community. Through this initiative, we’re working together to provide resources, assistance, and encouragement for those who have served our nation — ensuring they know they are never alone in the next chapter of life.
Whether it’s through financial support, local partnerships, or simply spreading the word, Tips for Vets is about more than a program — it’s about building a bridge of gratitude and action between veterans and the communities they protected.
Thank you for visiting, for caring, and for being part of the movement to stand beside our veterans with tangible help and heartfelt appreciation.
Kevin Hoey, co-owner of Military Brothers Moving LLC and co-creator of Tips for Vets, is dedicated to supporting local veterans through his company’s annual fundraising event for the Warrior Healing Center in Sierra Vista.
After completing seven years of service in the United States Air Force, Kevin returned home to Cochise County and faced the financial challenges many veterans experience when transitioning to civilian life. To support himself during that time, he founded Military Brothers Moving.
What began as a way to achieve financial stability has now become a platform for giving back. Through the company and the Tips for Vets event, Kevin and his wife Ashley Hoey work to raise awareness, inspire community action, and support the Warrior Healing Center’s mission to prevent veteran suicide.
During the month of November, customers can “Tip a Vet” when using Military Brothers Moving services.
Every tip collected is 100% matched by Kevin and Ashley and donated directly to the Warrior Healing Center. You can also support by purchasing our Tip off to Vets merch, where 100% of profits are donated directly to the Warrior Healing Center.
They invite you to get involved—by donating $22 a month for 22 a day, “Tip a Vet” during a moving service, proudly wear our merch, volunteering your time or services, or simply sharing information about the Warrior Healing Center with others in our community.
Together, we can honor those who served and strengthen our veteran community.
